Campaigns: Create, Launch, and Track
A campaign is one outreach run: a sequence (connection request + follow-up messages) sent to a set of prospects. This guide covers creating a campaign, launching it, and tracking results.
Before you start
- LinkedIn connected – See Connect LinkedIn.
- Prospects added – You need at least one prospect; add them from the Prospects page or Deskflow Search. See Prospects and Search.
- Sequence ready – Create and generate a sequence in Studio, or use a saved style. See Studio.
Create a campaign
- From Home or Campaigns, click Create Campaign (or Deskflow AI / Templated).
- Deskflow AI – Uses your Studio sequence (or saved style) and can personalize per prospect. Best for reply rates.
- Templated – One Studio template for all prospects; you have full control over the copy.
- You’ll be taken to the Campaign Builder.

Sequence (steps)
- Step 1 is always the connection request. The next steps are follow-up messages, usually 1–3 days apart.
- Click a step to open Configure Step: you can enter a message or leave it blank to have it generated.
- Add Step – Adds a wait (e.g. 2 days) and a LinkedIn message step. You can add multiple follow-ups.
- Delete – You can remove a step (except the start and, in most setups, the first connection step).
Configure step
- For each action step you can set the message.
- Leave blank to generate message – Deskflow will generate the message based on your Studio settings and prospect data.
- For wait steps you set the number of days before the next message.
Setup panel (right side)
- Campaign name – Give the campaign a name so you can find it later.
- Reach out through – Usually LinkedIn (message or InMail, depending on your plan).
- Prospects – Add prospects: Select from prospects (pick from your list), or upload/list options if your plan supports it.
- Product / Writing style / Language – Optional; used for generation and personalization.
Launch
- When the sequence and prospects are set, click Launch.
- The campaign is created and starts: connection requests (and then follow-ups) are queued according to the sequence and approval rules.
After launch
- Campaigns page – See all campaigns; open one to see status, sent, accepted, replied, meetings.
- Inbox – Approve queued messages, reply to conversations. See Inbox and Messages.
- Home – Dashboard shows messages sent, campaigns, and funnel (e.g. contacted, engaged, meetings).
Tracking and metrics
- Campaign detail – Lists prospects, status (e.g. pending, connected, replied), and message history.
- Meetings – If you use calendar integrations or log meetings, they can appear in the campaign and on Home.
- Approvals – Messages that need approval show in Inbox (or the approvals queue) until you approve or edit them.
