Getting Started with Deskflow

This guide walks you through signing up, connecting LinkedIn, & taking your first steps in Deskflow.

1. Sign up

  • Go to Deskflow & sign up with email or Google.
  • Complete your profile (name, company, job title) so your messages & signature look right.

2. Connect LinkedIn

Deskflow needs a LinkedIn connection to send connection requests & messages & to sync your inbox.

  1. Install the Deskflow extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. In Chrome, open a tab with Deskflow (e.g. app.deskflow.io or your Deskflow URL) & log in.
  3. Open LinkedIn in another tab & make sure you’re logged in.
  4. Click the Deskflow extension icon → Capture Session (or “Connect”).
  5. Return to Deskflow & go to Integrations. LinkedIn should show as Connected.

Option B: OAuth (if offered)

If your team uses OAuth, use IntegrationsConnect LinkedIn & follow the browser flow.

After connecting

  • You can send connection requests & messages from Deskflow.
  • Your LinkedIn inbox can sync so you see conversations & replies in Deskflow.

3. First steps in the app

  • Home – Dashboard: campaigns, messages sent, quick actions (Create Campaign, Import Leads, View Inbox).
  • Prospects – Your prospect list. Add people manually or via Deskflow Search.
  • Deskflow Search – Search by name, company, location, etc.; add results to your list or straight into a campaign.
  • Studio – Configure tone, products, & persona; generate your outreach sequence (connection request + follow-ups).
  • Campaigns – Create a campaign (Deskflow AI or Templated), add prospects, & launch.
  • Inbox – See LinkedIn conversations, reply, & approve queued messages.
  • Integrations – Manage LinkedIn connection & other integrations.

4. Suggested flow for your first campaign

  1. Connect LinkedIn (extension or OAuth) so Deskflow can send on your behalf.
  2. Open Studio – Set tone, add at least one product, & Generate a sequence (connection request + follow-up messages).
  3. Add prospects – Use Deskflow Search or Enter Manually on the Prospects page.
  4. Create a campaign – From Home or Campaigns, choose Deskflow AI (or Templated), pick your sequence/style, add prospects, & Launch.
  5. Inbox – Review & approve messages; reply to conversations.
