Studio: Create Your Outreach Sequence
Studio is where you design your outreach content and sequence (connection request + follow-up messages) before using it in a campaign. This guide walks through the sections and how to generate a sequence.
What Studio is for
- Set tone and writing style (Professional, Consultative, Friendly, Direct; message length; signature).
- Add products so the AI can personalize messages.
- Define target persona and tone examples so the AI matches your voice.
- Set personalization waterfall (order in which the AI uses profile data).
- Choose how many steps your sequence has (e.g. 3 or 4); step 1 is always the connection request.
- Optionally add a compliance disclaimer.
- Generate a sequence (connection request + follow-ups) that you can use in the Campaign Builder.
Studio does not send messages by itself; you use the generated sequence (or a saved style) when you create and launch a campaign.
Sections (in order)
1. Tone Examples (Writing style)
- Tone – Professional, Consultative, Friendly, or Direct.
- Message length – Short, Medium, or Long.
- Signature – How you sign off (e.g. name, title, company). You can leave it blank to use your profile default.
2. Product Library
- Add products or services you sell. The AI uses these to personalize messages (e.g. “our platform,” “this service”).
- Click Add Product and either type a custom product/description or pick a quick option (e.g. Software Platform, Consulting Services).
3. Target Persona
- Describe who you’re reaching out to (roles, industries, company types). The AI uses this to tailor the sequence.
4. Writing Style Examples
- Add example phrases that sound like you. The AI uses these to keep generated messages consistent with your voice.
5. Personalization Waterfall
- Set the priority order for how the AI uses prospect data (e.g. Engagement first, then Profile Summary, Job Description, Job Title). You can drag to reorder.
6. Sequence Steps
- Choose how many steps (e.g. 3 or 4). Step 1 is always the connection request; the rest are follow-up messages (e.g. 1–3 days later).
7. Compliance
- Optionally add a compliance disclaimer. Many teams leave this blank for a more natural tone.
Generate your sequence
- Fill in at least Tone Examples and Product Library (and optionally persona, tone examples, waterfall, steps, compliance).
- In the Live Preview area, click Generate (or Generate Sequence).
- The AI generates a sequence: connection request + follow-up messages. You can edit the preview and Copy or Save to Style Library.
- When you create a campaign (Deskflow AI or Templated), you can use this sequence (or a saved style) in the Campaign Builder.
Using your sequence in a campaign
- In the Campaign Builder, your latest Studio sequence (or a chosen style) is loaded as the default steps: Connection Request (step 1) → Wait X days → Follow Up 1 → (optional more steps).
- You can edit each step (message text or leave blank to generate) and add/remove steps before launching.
- See Campaigns for creating and launching campaigns.
Save to Style Library
- After generating (or editing) a sequence, you can Save to Style Library and give it a name. You can then choose that style when creating campaigns so you don’t have to regenerate every time.
